After the success of his Celebration Tour, Karlos Dergal came back to the recording studio to give us fresh new and original music.
The Celebration Tour was a concert Karlos Dergal gave in order to celebrate his first 10 years on the music business. While he was promoting this live album, he started writing new songs. During this unfortunate pandemic, he had the time to write more and experiment new sounds on his music.
In matter of the concept of his new album Karlos shares with us: “The album title is Pink because the songs try to stay positive even if they’re not totally happy. The songs talk about love, heartbreak, yearn, frustration and much more, but with a positive bright side making everything look pink. Also my new hairdo is a sweet pink that I’ve always wanted to have”.
The first single of this production is called ‘Let You Go’ and talks about recognizing you haven’t been the best person but now you’re ready to commit and be better. The videoclip is the reflection of the album’s artwork, Karlos appears floating on a pink sky singing and playing piano. This concept appeared since Karlos was writing the song. And he explains: “Since the melody appeared on my mind, I was stuck with the idea of those notes flying up in the sky”.
